I was getting breakfast in the kitchen this morning when Matthew came running in, looking worried and shouting "Elmo's on TV! I don't like him!". Fortunately it was just an advert so there was no harm done, though I'm not sure where the sudden aversion to furry red characters has come from!
On a separate note, I've noticed over the last few weeks how much less mess Matthew makes when he eats his dinner. Today his hands were completely clean, and he didn't have much round his mouth either. Obviously he has mastered the art of using cutlery!
Matthew's also dropped his daytime naps in the last couple of weeks. He used to go without them occasionally, such as in nursery and when he had a day out, but became very grumpy in the evening. Lately this has become less of a problem.
